Alfanar Group began an additional ₹950 crore capital infusion into Senvion

Alfanar Group announced an additional direct capital funding of about ₹950 crore into wind turbine manufacturer Senvion. The company said the infusion has already commenced, with an initial tranche of about ₹320 crore received by Senvion in August 2026, and the remainder scheduled to be completed within a couple of weeks.
Why it matters
The funding provides committed capital for Senvion to expand wind-turbine operations and related R&D/manufacturing activities in India and other markets.
