Andhra Pradesh approves ₹730.7 crore NIELIT Quantum and AI University campus in Amaravati

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved setting up a dedicated Quantum and AI University campus in Amaravati by NIELIT, with a reported cost of ₹730.7 crore and an 8.5-acre permanent campus funded through a MeitY grant. The report says classes are expected to begin from September 2026 at a temporary facility at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur, before shifting to the permanent Amaravati campus.
Why it matters
