Interarch Building Solutions Limited inaugurated a new heavy structural steel manufacturing facility at Attivaram in Andhra Pradesh. Phase I spans about 20 acres with ~25,000 sq m built-up area and an initial manufacturing capacity of 24,000 metric tonnes per annum; the company said civil works for Phase II are underway.
Why it matters
The facility adds capacity for fabricating complex heavy structural steel members used in large industrial and infrastructure projects such as data centres, semiconductor facilities, renewable energy and EV infrastructure.
