A genome sequencing centre was inaugurated at the NATCO cancer centre at the Government General Hospital in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is being operated on a pilot basis and is intended to provide genetic and biomarker tests free of charge to breast and lung cancer patients via a genetic testing department established at the centre.
