Birth waiting hall and village road inaugurated in Alluri Sitharama Raju district

Two infrastructure works worth ₹1.14 crore were inaugurated in the Araku Assembly constituency of Alluri Sitharama Raju district, Andhra Pradesh: a ₹35 lakh birth waiting hall at Sunkarimetta village (Araku Valley mandal) funded by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, and a ₹79 lakh road in Borakalavalasa village.
Why it matters
The birth waiting hall and improved road connectivity are intended to help residents of remote tribal areas access healthcare and other essential services in time.
