Geomysore began producing and marketing gold bars from Swarnagiri mine in Andhra Pradesh

Geomysore Services India Pvt. Ltd. commenced gold production from the Swarnagiri Gold Mines near Jonnagiri in Kurnool district in July 2026, according to information cited in The Hindu. The company has begun selling locally produced 999/24-carat gold bars (50g to 500g) branded as ‘Made in Andhra/Made in Jonnagiri’.
Why it matters
Local bullion production shifts part of the gold value chain from extraction to manufacturing within Andhra Pradesh, enabling downstream industries and jobs to develop around the mine output.
