Andhra Pradesh sanctioned ₹7,470 crore for ULB infrastructure works under HAM

The Andhra Pradesh government accorded administrative sanction for nearly ₹7,470 crore for infrastructure works in Urban Local Bodies under the Hybrid Annuity Model, including roads with drains, parks, street lighting and central medians. The sanctioned package includes a ₹5,500 crore capital works component and provisions for 10 years of operations and maintenance by concessionaires, with repayment over 10 years through quarterly instalments via an escrow account backed by identified urban-sector revenues.
