Visakhapatnam Port Authority added three continuous ambient air quality monitoring stations

Visakhapatnam Port Authority expanded its Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station (CAAQMS) network by adding three new monitoring units at Port Stadium (Akkayyapalem), Harbour Park (Pandurangapuram) and the Oil Berths (Malkapuram). The expansion is part of a ₹6,53,75,201 contract awarded to Rajasthan-based Analyser Instrument Co. Pvt. Ltd, with a six-month trial run followed by a 10-year maintenance contract, and includes LED boards displaying real-time readings to the public near key corridors.
