Land acquisition completed for NH 913 Lada–Sarli section; tender awarded

Officials told ET that land acquisition for the 125-km Lada to Sarli section of the 1,824-km Arunachal Frontier Highway (NH 913) has been completed after a compensation reassessment reduced the outgo from nearly ₹250 crore to about ₹185 crore. The report also says a private firm has recently won the tender for the Lada–Sarli package, with significant construction activity expected to begin shortly.

Completing land acquisition and awarding a works contract removes a key bottleneck for building a strategic border road intended to improve connectivity and support faster movement of defence forces in Arunachal Pradesh.
