OMCs’ 2026-27 ethanol tender excludes juice/syrup and B-heavy molasses routes

State-run oil marketing companies, through an ethanol procurement tender issued on 2026-10-16 by BPCL on behalf of OMCs for the 2026-27 ethanol supply year, excluded ethanol made from sugarcane juice, sugar syrup and B-heavy molasses, while keeping C-heavy molasses-based ethanol eligible. The tender seeks bids for around 11 billion litres of ethanol for petrol blending in the supply year beginning November.
