Study re-evaluates gene links to cerebral palsy, confirming 89 of 515 candidates

A study published in The American Journal of Human Genetics re-analysed evidence from 21 previously published genomic studies covering 5,440 people diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The authors report that only 89 of 515 previously proposed candidate genes had sufficient statistical evidence for an association with cerebral palsy.
