Brookfield agreed to invest up to $600m in ACME Cleantech Ventures for green molecules projects

Brookfield will invest up to $600 million as a structured equity investment in ACME Cleantech Ventures (ACME Group) to support development of ACME’s green molecules pipeline. The company said the capital will fund four developments: phase 2 of its Oman project, two green ammonia units, and a green methanol facility in Odisha, with equity valuation expected to be finalized by end-2026.
Why it matters
If completed as stated, the investment provides committed capital to move multiple green ammonia/methanol projects toward production capacity for domestic use and exports.
