Barapullah Phase-3 elevated corridor and Mukarba Chowk underpass opened in Delhi

The Barapullah Phase-3 elevated road corridor in Delhi was inaugurated, providing a signal-free connection between Mayur Vihar Phase-I and Sarai Kale Khan and linking to the existing Barapullah corridor. The Mukarba Chowk underpass was also inaugurated, and four infrastructure projects worth ₹1,941 crore were dedicated to Delhi, according to the report.
Why it matters
Opening these links is intended to improve traffic movement and provide a continuous signal-free route across key parts of Delhi, with added cycle and pedestrian facilities on the Barapullah Phase-3 corridor.
