Regional airline FLY91 announced it has signed a firm order for 40 ATR 72-600 aircraft, valued at approximately $1 billion. The airline said the order will expand its fleet from six ATR 72-600 aircraft and support growth of its regional network across India.
Why it matters
A firm aircraft order increases committed regional aviation capacity, which can enable more frequent service and new connections to smaller cities as planes are delivered and inducted.
