Railway Board notified a tri-weekly Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express service

The Railway Board issued a notification announcing a new tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Bhuj (Gujarat) and Barauni (Bihar). The 2,532-km service is planned to run three times a week from both ends, with Bhuj departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and Barauni departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; the commencement date and full timetable are yet to be announced.
Why it matters
Once it begins operations, it adds a new long-distance rail option linking Kutch (Gujarat) with north Bihar, expanding passenger connectivity on this corridor.
