IGL stations to deny CNG refuelling to vehicles without valid hydro-test certificates

Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) said its retail outlets will not dispense CNG to vehicles that do not have a valid hydro-test certificate for their CNG cylinders. The company said it is running a special safety drive across its CNG stations, with station personnel verifying hydro-test validity and checking certificates before refuelling.

This enforcement step can improve CNG cylinder safety compliance by preventing refuelling of vehicles with overdue or unverified cylinder testing.
