Upgraded Agri Welfare Portal launched as single-window gateway for farm schemes
New Delhi, Delhi19 Oct 2026
An upgraded Agri Welfare Portal was launched on October 19, 2026, according to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. The portal is intended to provide farmers information on government schemes and allow submission of applications for benefits, acting as a single-window gateway for initiatives including PM-KISAN, AgriStack and the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
Why it matters
If used at scale, a single portal for information and applications can reduce the need for farmers to visit multiple offices/websites and improve access to scheme benefits and advisory information.
