JOSH youth volunteer teams launched to support TB elimination campaign

India launched the Joint Squad for Health (JOSH) initiative, bringing together over 58,000 youth volunteers (My Bharat volunteers and NCC cadets) to support grassroots mobilisation for tuberculosis elimination. The launch took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi; the teams were given a pilot task covering all blocks in 55 districts across 11 states, with activities to be recorded via a new JOSH Team feature on the TB Mukt Bharat app.
