New Delhi, Delhi15 Oct 2026
The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Jaipur House, New Delhi inaugurated the 'Takshanam' exhibition featuring 250+ artworks/sculptures by 150 artists. The PIB release also states that NGMA is starting the sale of artworks for the first time, as part of this initiative; the exhibition is open to the public until 15 November 2026.
Why it matters
Starting artwork sales at NGMA creates a new channel for artists—especially sculptors with high material costs—to reach collectors and potentially earn income through a national museum platform.
