Delhi cabinet approved Go-Delhi Foundation with ₹50 crore corpus to support startups
New Delhi, Delhi18 Oct 2026
According to a Delhi CMO statement cited by Mint/PTI, the Delhi cabinet approved setting up a Go-Delhi Foundation with a ₹50 crore corpus to support innovators, researchers, startups and MSMEs in Delhi. The foundation is to be established as a not-for-profit Section 8 company under the Department of Industries and provide access to labs/testing, prototyping and product engineering, mentoring/incubation support, and links to investors and markets; it also proposes pilot testing and adoption of solutions for government departments’ problems.
Why it matters
If implemented as described, it consolidates technical facilities and early-stage support so Delhi startups can prototype, test, and pilot solutions more easily within the city.
