India expanded iFMS to link fertiliser purchases with land records and subsidy tracking

The Department of Fertilizers said it is broadening the Integrated Fertilizer Management System (iFMS), adding tools to link fertiliser purchases with verified farmer land/ownership records via an AgriStack-based ID and to monitor subsidy payments more closely. The update includes a mobile booking app framework generating QR codes for point-of-sale verification, new dashboards for consolidated supply-chain monitoring, and a Vehicle Location Tracking System for tracking dispatches with real-time vehicle location data.
