DGFT extended RoDTEP duty refund scheme for eligible exports till 2026-12-31

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued a notification extending the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme by three months, covering eligible exports from DTA, Advance Authorisation, SEZ and EOU units up to December 31, 2026. The scheme was previously set to end on September 30, 2026.
Why it matters
The extension maintains continuity of refunds for embedded taxes and duties on exports, affecting exporters’ pricing and ability to honour and negotiate orders.
