Genesys International wins ₹283 crore contract to build Ahmedabad 3D digital twin

Ahmedabad, Gujarat24 Sept 2026

Genesys International said it secured a ₹283 crore World Bank-funded contract to develop a comprehensive 3D digital twin and spatial intelligence platform for Ahmedabad, covering about 625 sq km. The project includes surveying and geocoding around 25 lakh properties, mapping above-ground civic assets and underground utility networks, and integrating the data into a central GIS database; the company said it is expected to be completed in about 2.5 years followed by five years of operation and maintenance.

Why it matters

A city-scale digital twin and unified GIS can help municipal departments coordinate planning and maintenance by working from a shared, property-level and utility-level view of civic infrastructure.
