HNGIL announced ₹280 crore expansion to double Bahadurgarh glass plant capacity

Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd (HNGIL) said it will invest ₹280 crore to expand its Bahadurgarh manufacturing facility in Haryana and double production capacity from 300 tonnes per day to 600 tonnes per day within 60–90 days. The company said the investment includes ₹180 crore in capex and ₹100 crore in opex over the next three years.
Why it matters
If executed as stated, the expansion would increase container-glass manufacturing output from this North India plant, supporting higher domestic supply and related employment.
