Hillhouse set up data centre platform TeraNova DC to develop up to 2GW in India

Hillhouse Investments has set up TeraNova DC, a dedicated data centre platform, to develop and operate hyperscale and AI-ready data centre campuses in India. The company said it plans to deploy about $12–15 billion to develop over 2GW of capacity across markets including Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi-NCR and Gujarat by 2032.
Why it matters
If executed, the platform would add large-scale domestic data centre capacity to support growing cloud and AI compute demand in India.
