Indian Railways commissioned five new Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals (GCTs) in August 2026, taking the total commissioned to 149 as of August 31, according to Ministry of Railways data cited by ET Infra. The newly commissioned terminals are at Shivlakha (Gujarat), Nalli (Tamil Nadu), Shaktinagar (Uttar Pradesh), Deoragram (Madhya Pradesh) and Brajrajnagar (Odisha).
