Indian Railways, citing a Ministry of Railways press release, approved projects worth ₹630 crore across three states: an 11-km Adra–Joychandipahar bypass line (₹272 crore) in South Eastern Railway, Electronic Interlocking at 21 stations in Samastipur Division (₹233 crore) in East Central Railway, and remodelling of the Bhavnagar Para yard (₹125 crore) in Gujarat to ease congestion at Bhavnagar Terminus.
