Indian Railways started a 1-year pilot with 25% lower round-trip parcel coach fares

Indian Railways issued a circular introducing discounted round-trip bookings for parcel coaches under Joint Parcel Product–Rapid Cargo Service (JPP-RCS). Parcel aggregators can book a round trip at 1.5 times the one-way fare (a 25% reduction versus two one-way legs), effective immediately, for a one-year pilot; it applies to all current and future JPP-RCS routes except Patel Nagar (Delhi)–Chitpur (Kolkata).
