Industrial Transition Accelerator selected 11 Indian clean-industry projects for support

The Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) said it selected 11 Indian projects for tailored support under its India Project Support Programme to help accelerate clean industrial projects. ITA said the selected projects represent more than $18 billion in potential investment and could deliver over 7.8 million tonnes of annual carbon abatement across multiple sectors.
Why it matters
If the projects progress to investment decisions and completion, they could add domestic capacity for lower-emission materials and fuels (e.g., steel, ammonia, SAF) and reduce industrial emissions.
