Vande Bharat speed trial crosses Chenab Bridge at nearly 100 kmph in Jammu & Kashmir

A Vande Bharat train crossed the Chenab Bridge in Reasi district at nearly 100 kmph for the first time during a speed trial on the 111-km new broad-gauge section between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Banihal. The trial followed Railway Ministry approval to raise the maximum permissible speed on this section to 100 kmph from earlier limits of 85 kmph (Katra–Sangaldan) and 75 kmph (Sangaldan–Banihal), according to an ANI report carried by ETInfra.
