NMC permits Bagalkot Medical College and Research Institute to admit 100 MBBS students

The National Medical Commission’s Medical Assessment and Rating Board issued a Letter of Permission allowing the Bagalkot Medical College and Research Institute (government medical college) to admit 100 students in the first year of MBBS from the 2026–27 academic year. The institute was established last year on the premises of the government hospital in Bagalkot, after its earlier application was rejected and later cleared through an appeals process.
