Bengaluru Yellow Line inducts 15th trainset; peak-hour frequency reduced to 6 minutes

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited inducted the 15th and final Titagarh Rail Systems-supplied six-coach trainset into Namma Metro’s Yellow Line service, completing the corridor’s full fleet of 15 trainsets. With all 15 commissioned, BMRCL began operating peak-hour services at a six-minute frequency on the 19.75-km R.V. Road–Bommasandra corridor.
Why it matters
A complete fleet enables tighter headways and more reliable service on the Yellow Line to better handle passenger demand and maintain operations during maintenance or disruptions.
