Barracuda Networks opened five Cybersecurity Centres of Excellence at Karnataka colleges

Barracuda Networks opened Cybersecurity Centres of Excellence (COEs) at five engineering colleges in Karnataka: Basaveshwar Engineering College (Bagalkot), BLDEA’s Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology (Vijayapura), Siddaganga Institute of Technology (Tumkuru), Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (Mysuru), and Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (Moodbidri). The company said the centres will support industry-led sessions, hands-on labs, mentoring, and collaboration with cybersecurity practitioners.
Why it matters
These centres add local training and industry linkages for cybersecurity skills development in second- and third-tier cities in Karnataka.
