Bengaluru Traffic Police put two-wheeler ban on Airport Road and Electronics City flyovers on hold

Bengaluru Traffic Police temporarily put on hold the ban on two-wheelers on the Airport Road Elevated Corridor and the Electronics City elevated corridor after a pilot led to congestion and traffic conflicts at diversion points. The police will instead implement vehicle restrictions in phases, continuing goods-vehicle restrictions on the Airport Road corridor during notified hours and starting a similar first-phase goods-vehicle restriction on the Electronics City corridor from September 11 while allowing two-wheelers for now.
