Assured transit-time domestic container train service started between Bengaluru and Delhi

Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), in collaboration with Indian Railways, flagged off an ‘Assured Transit Time’ domestic container train service from ICD Whitefield (Bengaluru) to Tughlakabad (Delhi) via ICD Tondiarpet (Chennai). The train is scheduled to originate from ICD Whitefield every Saturday, with a stated total transit window of 166 hours.

A scheduled, time-assured freight rail option can reduce uncertainty for manufacturers and logistics planners moving domestic cargo between South India and the National Capital Region.
