CPP Investments acquired a 27% stake in Prestige Hospitality Ventures for ₹3,000 crore

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) acquired a 27% stake in Prestige Hospitality Ventures Ltd (PHVL), the hospitality platform of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd, for ₹3,000 crore. The companies said the majority of the capital will support PHVL’s expansion; PHVL has hotels and a development pipeline across multiple Indian cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The investment provides committed capital for PHVL to expand its hotel portfolio and development pipeline in India.
