The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) launched Nambike Nakshe 2.0 in Bengaluru on September 19, 2026, introducing an automated building plan approval system for the Greater Bengaluru Area. According to the report, the new version removes official scrutiny and verification before approval, with document and plan checks handled by software and approvals granted automatically (initially on a pilot basis in selected areas).
