HCLTech announced the launch of its Advanced Semiconductor Lab in Bengaluru with an investment of ₹185 crore. The 40,000 sq ft facility includes 25,000 sq ft of Class 10K and Class 1K cleanrooms and provides post-silicon engineering, semiconductor testing, failure analysis, and production qualification capabilities.
Why it matters
The lab adds in-country semiconductor testing and engineering capacity, which can reduce turnaround times for validation and qualification work for chip development and production readiness.
