iPC proposed a three-phase green hydrogen and hyperscale data-centre project in Karnataka

Luxembourg-based Innovation Platform Capital (iPC) proposed investing ₹83,480 crore in Karnataka across three phases for an integrated Bengaluru–Tumakuru green hydrogen and hyperscale data-centre platform. The company’s current proposal covers phase 1 with a gross investment of ₹17,114 crore, comprising 400 MW of data-centre capacity (two 200 MW campuses) and a 500 MW green hydrogen and power complex, and it has sought 1,000 acres of land for the project.
Why it matters
If executed, the proposal would add large-scale data-centre IT load and green hydrogen capacity in the Bengaluru–Tumakuru corridor, expanding regional digital and clean-energy infrastructure.
