KSRTC started a multi-axle bus service on the Bengaluru–Ballari route

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) introduced a new multi-axle bus service between Bengaluru and Ballari starting September 15, 2026. The service operates from Kempegowda Bus Station in Bengaluru via Sira, Hiriyur and Challakere, with fares of ₹802 to Ballari and ₹634 to Challakere.
Why it matters
It adds a new scheduled intercity public transport option on the Bengaluru–Ballari corridor, increasing capacity and choice for passengers.
