K-Ride reports 89% physical completion on Byappanahalli–Hosur track doubling

Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited (K-Ride) said the 48-km Byappanahalli–Hosur railway track doubling project has reached 89% physical work completion. The agency also stated that around 14 km (about 30%) of the doubled line has been commissioned so far, with remaining works including track linking, electrification, signalling and telecom pending in sections such as Byappanahalli–Bellandur Road and Heelalige–Hosur.
