Sarvam AI launched the Epoch Builder Edition platform for India-focused LLMs

Bengaluru-based Sarvam AI launched Epoch Builder Edition, a developer and enterprise platform intended to help organisations build, fine-tune and deploy large language models for Indian languages and use cases. The company said the platform includes new 7B and 70B parameter multilingual base models, training infrastructure (including GPU clusters), curated datasets and deployment tools, with private preview available from August 2026 and general availability planned for Q4 2026.
Why it matters
If adopted, this platform could let Indian organisations develop and deploy language models for local languages and domains using their own data, including on-premises options for greater control over sensitive information.
