Battery swapping platform Yuma Energy raised $35 Mn (₹333 Cr) in a Series A round from existing backer Magna International. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand its battery swapping network across India, broaden its customer base and strengthen its technology platform.

More committed capital for battery swapping infrastructure can increase availability and reduce downtime for electric two- and three-wheelers that rely on quick energy replenishment.
