Cochin airport begins IndiGo CarGo A321 freighter service on Kochi–Sharjah route

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) commenced IndiGo CarGo’s dedicated Airbus A321 freighter service between Kochi and Sharjah, adding scheduled freighter connectivity on the sector. The service is operating once a week initially, with plans stated in the report to scale up to three flights per week.
Why it matters
Direct scheduled freighter capacity can move time-sensitive exports from Kerala to the UAE faster and improve cargo connectivity onward to Gulf and Middle East markets.
