DP World Cochin ICTT began receiving calls from the new MGR IFR shipping service

DP World Cochin’s International Container Transhipment Terminal (ICTT) started receiving calls from the MGR IFR Service, a new fortnightly shipping connection linking Kochi and Nhava Sheva with Fujairah (UAE), Sohar (Oman) and Aden (Yemen). The service began with an inaugural call by M.V. MARSA VIRGO at DP World Cochin, where the terminal handled over 1,000 TEUs; the service is operated by M.V. MARSA VIRGO and M.V. MARSA ZENITH (each >500 TEUs capacity per voyage).
