Construction begins on Nedumbassery halt railway station near Kochi airport

Construction has begun on the Nedumbassery halt railway station on the Angamaly–Chovvara rail line, about 1.5 km from Cochin International Airport. Southern Railway has set a one-year timeline to complete the halt station, which is planned to include two 600 m platforms, a foot overbridge, a waiting hall and a ticket booking office.
