RBDCK approved revised design for Pavangad ROB approach road to bypass HV cables

The Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala (RBDCK) approved a revised design for the approach road to the Pavangad–Puthiyappa railway overbridge (Pavangad ROB) after underground 110-kV and 11-kV power cables were found at the piling site and work was stopped. The design increases piles from three to four at four locations to avoid damaging the 110-kV cable, while the 11-kV cable will still be relocated (KSEB submitted a ₹38 lakh estimate).
