Kerala raises Aswasakiranam caregiver assistance to ₹1,000 per month

The Kerala government issued orders increasing the monthly assistance under the Aswasakiranam Scheme from ₹600 to ₹1,000, with immediate effect. The aid is paid to caregivers of chronically bedridden or disabled persons, people with terminal or chronic illnesses, or the elderly.
