Kerala Supplyco allowed to resume conditional agreements with rice mills for Kharif procurement

Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) has been conditionally granted special permission to enter into agreements with rice mills that had contracted in the previous season but did not complete milling within the stipulated time, citing the need to start rice procurement for the current Kharif season on time. Supplyco will inspect paddy stocks at eligible mills and require mill owners to submit an affidavit accounting for remaining paddy and committing to complete milling and deliver rice to Supplyco within the stipulated period.
