Lam Research announced plan to invest ~₹10,000 crore in India for silicon components facility

Lam Research said it intends to invest nearly ₹10,000 crore over the coming years in India to establish its first silicon component manufacturing facility in the country and to augment its R&D operations. The company said the facility would support a vertically integrated process spanning silicon ingot production and processing for advanced semiconductor technologies and leading-edge nodes.
